The P.A.W.S Saga

IN A BACKYARD

Far
......

Far.......

Away............

..... P.A.W.S WELFARE started by accident , well a need ....

After rescuing the first pregnant black feline from being kicked by its 40ish year old owner after he was told his cat was pregnant, he didn't want the kittens.

'Buffy' now lives with us and as a personal promise to her so do all 3 of her offspring.

Since then, strays have found their way to our door, no matter how much we hide from them they sniff us out.

Then there was the veterinary visit that put us in full motion, we found 6 felines on death row.... we only have 1 left at home the rest found themselves homes fairly quickly.

That was six years ago.

We have helped over 1000 animals find new families and helped many others in need of sterilization and vaccinations and other medical costs .

Hence a new world for P.A.W.S welfare was formed.

We receive no government funding.

Solely running on the very thin walls of a moth eaten wallet, mine, and over the years the generosity of strangers.

P.A.W.S WELFARE works towards educating pet owners and the wider community so that all domestic pets live in an appropriate environment where their mental and physical needs are meet, reducing the incidence of problem and or antisocial behaviors.

P.A.W.S WELFARE ensures the welfare of its animals for the remainder of its life and will always take back an animal if any circumstances change at a later date.

P.A.W.S WELFARE requests on the return of the animal upon termination of its life, so that it can be cremated and returned to PAWS WELFARE and placed in the memorial area.

P.A.W.S WELFARE maybe a small time operational group but we are doing the do and not walking the talk...

P.A.W.S. WELFARE does not euthanize and animal no matter how long it takes or cost for them to be re-homed.

Thank you for taking the time to look at adopting an animal through
P.A.W.S. WELFARE

Our animals deserve the right to happiness and maybe your home is their home.
