The PAWS WELFARE site was created on
20 December 2008 with the purpose of continuing the work of re-homing animals that would have been EUTHANISED for non medical reasons.
We intend on including as many animals as possible in the hope that the further exposure will help find these animals new homes.
P.A.W.S WELFARE is a non profit animal welfare organization, highly dedicated to the rescue care and to the re-homing of unwanted animals in the Perth and surrounding areas.
P.A.W.S WELFARE obtains animals from veterinary surgeries, council pounds (who only have limited housing and are only able to keep them for a few days), members of the general public who are unable to care for the animal no longer and animals that are abandoned, wandering the local area.
P.A.W.S WELFARE assesses all animals as to their re-homing suitability. All animals are veterinary checked and placed into foster homes to evaluate their housing suitability and needs.
P.A.W.S WELFARE does not use cages or kennels instead we established a network of foster homes, so that the animal can be observed and cared for in an environment similar to those of the future homes.
P.A.W.S WELFARE promotes the sterilization of animals and aims to improve the quality of life of your pets by supporting responsible animal ownership, education programs and community awareness campaigns.
